During that broadcast, the LORD told me to host a “Keeping It Real Conference” as a gift to anyone who wanted to attend. He told me to share how I do what I do, and why I do what I do in my teaching ministry. I obeyed His voice. Little did I know that Satan would launch an all-out frontal attack on my family, my ministry, and me. Most of you know the story by now. If you don’t know, please ask somebody! The result was the birth of The NEW Olivet Baptist Church. Here’s the scriptural basis for Keeping It REAL Ministries: · Psalm 111:7 – The works of His hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure. · 1 Timothy 2:7 – Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not); a teacher of the Gentiles (nations) in faith and verity.

I collect swords because of the spiritual imperative for us as Christians to do battle with the enemy of our souls. Jesus was very clear about the role of the body of Christ when he said in Matthew 10:34, “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.”
